Busfest 2017

The Spectrums:
The Spectrums (an 80 New Wave and Electronic band) played at Malvern’s Busfest  this year and what can we say in regards to the lighting on the evening?  What a better way to capture the era of neon lights and electric dreams with a FANTASTIC light show courtesy of Mr. Mac McKie. The visual barrage of lights was truly a spectacular to behold as we tore through our set of energetic 80s excitement. The spotlights held a great ambience when there were solo singing spots and when the music picked back up a bit the strobes and washes of colour were a stunning sight  to see. A VERY professional and aesthetically pleasing show which we would love to incorporate into some of our further future events. Well done! 5 stars ***

Feedback is very welcome.  If you would like to provide some feedback as a band/member or a gig go'er please email: rtmckie@sky.com

firstly .. this was the 1st time in 13 years of gigging that a lighting engineer has bothered to actually ask what we would like! and also had the foresight to request songs in advance to work a lighting show to fit the music. secondly.. professionalism on the evening was outstanding, super accurate blackouts, fitting strobes and effective colour fills. in the past we have never really noticed stage lighting for our shows as it was too random and not in sync, last night on the other hand was bang on!

"I have had the pleasure of McLite, lighting up two recent charity  festivals  that I  organised.  Mac is very approachable,  from the very beginning with the planning he was always easy to get hold of and there to answer any questions. He was also able to give good advice on how to make the event run smoothly.

Mac is so professional and his attention to detail is second to none,  this isn't just someone lighting up a show this is someone who puts on a amazing light show to enhance the event.  I even had audience members comment on how fantastic the light show was !!

The last two years have been a total pleasure and Mac and his team will 100% be part of any festival I arrange.

Dont hesitate to book them you will not be disappointed"

We had been battling with the lighting issues from day one in 2012, although the shows rocked and made ears bleed, there was something missing, and then came Mcliite* bringing a new dimension to the Odins experience with his light show, it is not just a light show it is the beating heart of the performance, and long may my Scottish brother be member of the hordes.
